Sometimes anxiety is brought on by stress, but for people that suffer from anxiety disorders, it can feel like it comes out of nowhere.

It can range from general nervousness to feeling like you are having a heart attack. At times, an anxiety attack can be debilitating.

In my experience, the key to calming an anxiety attack is finding a way to ground yourself. Self-talk or repeating words or phrases is an extremely useful tool when anxiety strikes.
