Ingredient 1
Look at the fraction as a whole -Embrace what you have
Take it as an 80-20 formula! When something gives you 80% joy and 20% disappointment or unhappiness, focus on the 80% and look at it like it 100%. For example, when you have a baby 80% happiness comes in the form of love and 20% comes in the form of sleepless nights! Expect only to 80% from any situation.Change the way you think and train yourself to love the unperfect. Every time you want life to be perfect change your perspective and except the 80% as it 100%. An expecting perfect situation will bring only suffer and disappointments. Train yourself to look at the imperfect situation as a perfect one.
Believing ‘The grass is greener on the other side’ is what kills happiness! Stop looking over the fence and look within! Every life experience brings in a great number of positives and happiness and as soon as we start focusing on that, the minor downs and lows of life will seem insignificant.

Satisfaction

How to increase your life satisfaction.

 

All we want in life is to find satisfaction. We are raised to believe that more money, a better job or finding true love is the secret to leading a more satisfied life. But the answer isn’t found in material objects or other people, but rather within ourselves, who we are, and what we do.

Satisfaction is skill that needs to be developed by practicing, like our other muscles or skills we may have. In order to find satisfaction you need to develop gratitude and gratefulness as a skill. If you are complain all the time you eventually only focus on your issue, which decreases your energy level, and will only continue to make your problem continue to grow.  

If you would like to stop the process of being unsatisfied, you need to start finding positive things in everything you do. You must learn how to focus on the good things and practice that skill daily.

Let me share a private story of mine with you.

While I was in my 20’s I received my degree, and  started to work in a high tech company as an engineer. I earned a lot of money, especially for a newly graduated student, had a boyfriend that I loved, and had a nice job. But my soul felt that something was imprecise and still missing in my life.

Then, for the first time of my life, I felt that something was “wrong” with me.

“How could it be that I have everything I have ever wanted and yet still feel miserable”?

”How could it be that all of creation stands for me yet I am still complaining?

This job probably wasn’t my purpose or one of my strengths but 20 years later I look at things a bit differently. You need to find the happiness inside of yourself. The outside circumstances never make you happy if you are not trained to be happy. We all find reasons to be unhappy but if you want to enjoy life you need to focus your mind on the things make you feel uplifted, stronger,and empowered you.

Life doesn’t need to be perfect.

I thought about a great exercise to help practice gratitude and the skill of being happy.

  • Download the thinkUp app from the app Store.
  • Write down 10 things that you grateful for .
  • Choose music that you like.
  • Listen to your personalized meditation for one month while going to sleep.
  • listen for one month for 20 minutes a day.

How to find Purpose and Uniqueness?

Since I was twenty I have always wanted to retire and practice meditation.I went to six long retreats as well as followed monks and gurus all over the world. I traveled to Thailand with my mother, slept on the floor, ate only rice, and was completely silent for ten days. I did this six times. I would sit on the floor and meditate for almost seventeen hours a day. This meditation helped me find a way to make myself feel better, alive, change my thinking patterns, and feel more powerful, as if I could do anything.

My uniqueness has come from all of these experiences. My passion is to help people find their uniqueness and be their best self. To help people change their thinking pattern to a winning one.

Everyone has a unique gift, something that makes them feel happy, alive, and special. It is fueled by one’s deepest passions, and developed through a never ending feeling of purpose.

You don’t compete with anyone over this gift, as it is as unique and individualized as you are. If you don’t believe that you have a gift, or don’t recognize it ,even when it stares you right in the face , this blog is for you.

Uniqueness is about being your best, and allowing yourself to feel excited and alive. In this state, you can do anything without limitations. Finding your uniqueness is like being in love with yourself and the life you live.

In order to find it, you should explore yourself and discover what excites you, what you fear the most, and what you will need to release or let go of in order for you to be your best self.

The first step is to understand that you are special just the way you are.You don’t need to copy or compare yourself to anyone else. Everyone has their own unique journey.  

Focus on your strengths and gifts: a combination of what you’re good at and the journey you are on. Your gift can be anything from your loyalty, organization skills, sense of humor, your esthetic skills, to even the way you see the world. It can be any skill that you combine with your knowledge from life.

Try to forget your fears. Leave them behind and don’t let them get the best of you. Allow yourself to think in another way, and to have the courage to admit that you are as unique and wonderful as you really are.

Think back to when you were younger. Think back to times when you weren’t influenced by fears or doubt. What did you do or want to do? How did you spend your days? What was most enjoyable for you?

If you want to be truly successful invest in yourself to get the knowledge you need to find your unique factor. When you find it and focus on it and persevere it your success will blossom.”Sydney Madwed

Think about the last time you lost track of time. Were there activities that you found so interesting that you didn’t think about time, eating, or sleeping? Moments of lost time point towards areas of strong interest and deep passions.

You also need to understand that failures are lessons that rewire your brain. With every failure you continue to improve and learn new skills. Like a baby taking its first steps, you must be ready to learn by possibly failing and falling. Things aren’t always going to go your way, no matter how great you are. Sometimes we need a good wakeup call to keep us going. Sometimes, we need the pain of failure in order to correct, improve, and change ourselves.

You don’t have to change your entire life for a successful mindset. You don’t have to make huge changes like quitting your job, or moving. All you need is to find your uniqueness and focus on it. When the time is right you will know what to do with your gift.

I think I found my uniqueness. It took me forty years, but it combines all of the things that I love and are good at.

My partner and I developed a method and tool that change our thoughts to be positive ones.

By changing our thoughts and beliefs, we can change our world! We can be our very best and use our minds effectively!

Many people might be afraid to make changes in the way they think, I was afraid too, but for the ones that are willing to take the risk, have the time, and have the desire to succeed, then I have developed a great method for you to change your life.

Start a bedtime routine

If you normally take a shower in the morning, try making it part of your bedtime routine instead. After you take a hot shower, put on some relaxing music and clean, comfortable nightclothes. A consistent routine lets the body know that it is time for bed. Some people even listen to relaxing music to help them ease into a peaceful night’s sleep.

Meditation

Many people use meditation to help form a clear, quiet mind. Take 15 minutes in the morning and/ or at night to be still and to quiet your mind. Practicing meditation will get you in a better and more consistent habit of focusing.

Quieting the mind helps you in the practice of being still. A lot of times, the mind is filled with the stress of the day. Instead of holding a bunch of chaos in your mind, it’s better to let go of it. You don’t need to be in a dark room to quiet your mind either. This is something that can be done anywhere with intentionality and practice.

There are many useful apps like headspace ,calm or Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey’s meditations which I found very relaxing and useful for quieting the mind.

I personally like to her inspirational lectures on youTube while I am exercising . Through hearing about the struggles that others have overcome, you may find strength. Choose a sentence or phrase from an inspirational work, and create a meditation around it.

Find Positive Friends

The people with whom we share our space can impact how we feel about ourselves. Seek the people that accept you for who you are. These positive people will encourage you to let your light shine, and they will reflect back the light that you put forth.

Work on the self will improve your quality of life. You will notice that new opportunities arise as you learn to love and accept yourself.
